Camp Simcha. Four ways.

Creating connections

Giborim & Chalutzim Campers

Giborim and Chalutzim offer engaging experiences for Camp Simcha’s youngest and mid-level campers. Giborim (“small, but Mighty Ones”) enjoy a warm, nurturing environment filled with music, movement, creative play, swimming, and hands-on activities that build confidence, connection, and friendship, including Yom Giborim, a weekly themed day with surprises just for them. Chalutzim (“Pioneers”) are ready for more independence and adventure, participating in chugim, sports, arts and crafts, music, games, and camp-wide experiences that foster leadership, confidence, and strong friendships, with Yom Chalutzim bringing the excitement of a field trip to camp each week—all within a joyful Jewish community where a lifelong love of camp begins.

Creating connections

Campers At Simcha

Calling all campers from grade K–6! Get ready for a summer at Camp Simcha where beloved traditions blend with fresh new experiences to create memories that last a lifetime. From classic camp activities to exciting field trips, we’re bringing the magic beyond our campgrounds with outdoor adventures.

At Camp Simcha, it’s our tight-knit Jewish community that truly sets us apart—fostering friendships, shared traditions, and a sense of belonging. We can’t wait for you to be part of this unforgettable summer!

Leadership & Adventure

Manhigim

Manhigim is Camp Simcha’s program for older campers ready to take on greater responsibility while still enjoying the fun of camp. The program blends classic camp activities with leadership development, skill-building, and deeper connection—serving as a bridge between camper and future staff.

Manhigim split their time between leadership training, team building, and age-appropriate field trips, building confidence, communication skills, and strong peer bonds in a joyful Jewish environment. Unique experiences and one-of-a-kind activities encourage growth, leadership, and plenty of Simcha along the way.

Leadership & Adventure

Manhigim (Mahn-hee-geem)

Manhigim (meaning “leaders” in Hebrew) is a brand-new leadership program for grades 7 & 8 at Camp Simcha! This program is the perfect blend of adventure and leadership development.

Campers in Manhigim will go on field-trips (a bunch!), tackle exciting team-building challenges, and dive into hands-on leadership activities that help them grow. Whether navigating the great outdoors or working together on leadership projects, every moment is an opportunity to discover new strengths and build confidence.

HANDS-ON Mentorship

Counselors in Training (CIT)

CIT is an enhanced leadership program for teens ready to grow, lead, and make a meaningful impact at Camp Simcha. As the entry point to staff, CITs gain real responsibility while enjoying mentorship, training, and plenty of camp fun.

Guided by a dedicated CIT Coordinator, participants build leadership skills through hands-on work with campers, cohort bonding, and leadership workshops led by outside experts. CITs also take part in staff training (June 8-12 times TBD), meetings, and program planning—gaining behind-the-scenes insight and helping co-create the magic of Camp Simcha.

HANDS-ON Mentorship

Counselors in Training (CIT)

This program for 9th and 10th graders emphasizes hands-on leadership experience and prepares campers for future counselor roles. CITs mentor younger campers, work alongside experienced staff, and take on real responsibilities that build skills including communication, problem-solving, and teamwork. It’s about practicing leadership in a camp setting and making an immediate impact.

In addition to leadership training, CITs will bond with peers, enjoy camp activities, and take part in challenges designed specifically for their age group. CITs are required to attend staff training (Dates to Come).
