Life Cycle
Celebrating sacred moments as they unfold in our lives — this one of the greatest blessings of Jewish life. At Temple Solel, our rituals intend to lift up these moments in a personal, memorable, and creative way. Tradition infuses our modern approaches, and each individual is met in the moment with the warm embrace of Jewish wisdom and beauty.
- Buried (in a casket in a plot in the ground), or
- Interred in a casket which is then placed in a crypt in a mausoleum wall, or
- Cremated, or
- Donated to medical science.

• The Hineynu Community is a network of Temple Solel members designed for “inreach” to families in need. Hineynu encourages participation of all Temple Solel members in fulfilling the mitzvah of Gemilut Chasidim acts of loving-kindness, visiting the sick, consoling the bereaved, and welcoming the stranger.
The Steering Committee coordinates activities working in partnership with the clergy to provide support for the spiritual and emotional well-being of our congregational family in times of simcha, illness, injury, isolation, bereavement, or any other major life changes.
If you become aware of someone in need due to illness, injury, or facing a major life cycle event please make a referral to the Temple Solel office or a Hineynu Steering Committee member.
